This exceptional performance stands as one of the most impressive accomplishments by any team in Singapore’s cycling history, a testament to their hard work, skill, and the invaluable support of RS Cycles.

At the heart of this success is the team’s commitment to excellence, paired with their choice of high-performance equipment—Factor Bicycles. These “weapons of choice” have played a pivotal role in powering the riders to victory.

The team, led by Captain Boon Kiat, also includes the talented Willy Yong Mun Liang, Messie, and Ga Cheng. Together, they have displayed outstanding coordination, endurance, and racing strategy, setting a new standard for competitive cycling in Singapore.

The combination of world-class riders and cutting-edge technology has propelled RS Racing to the top, and their achievements will be remembered as a benchmark for future races. A Big Congratulations to RS Racing Team Captain Boon Kiat for Another National Championship Victory in Men’s Elite Road Racing

We are thrilled to celebrate our RS Racing team captain, Boon Kiat, on his remarkable victory at the 2024 National Championship in the Men’s Elite Road Racing category. With this latest win, Boon Kiat has secured his third consecutive National Championship title, achieving a well-deserved hat trick in this highly competitive discipline.

The 2024 race weekend was filled with intense competition, with many of the fastest riders vying for the top spot. Despite the challenges, Boon Kiat rose to the occasion and demonstrated his exceptional skill and resilience. What makes this victory even more impressive is the fact that he had limited time to adjust to his new bike.

Boon Kiat rode the latest Factor Ostro VAM V2, equipped with the RS Racing team’s custom colorway and the brand-new Black Inc 48||58 wheelset. According to him, the new bike and wheels significantly outperformed his previous setup, delivering superior handling and speed. He was also fitted with the Vittoria Corsa Pro 30c tires, and he praised the wider tire choice, noting that it not only provided enhanced comfort and speed but also improved aerodynamics as the tires seamlessly hugged the rim’s external width.

Boon Kiat’s humble demeanor and extraordinary dedication continue to inspire us all. His relentless pursuit of excellence sets a shining example for the cycling community. Once again, a heartfelt congratulations to Boon Kiat on this incredible achievement! We look forward to even greater successes in the future.

RS Racing Team Captain Boon Kiat Clinches Another 1st Place Podium in the Individual Time Trial Elite Men

When one victory wasn’t enough, our RS Racing team captain, Boon Kiat, has once again proven his dominance by securing another 1st place podium finish, this time in the Individual Time Trial Elite Men’s category.

For this race, Boon Kiat was riding the Factor Hanzo, widely regarded as one of the fastest and most aerodynamic time trial bikes on the market. His setup included the Black Inc Three and Zero combo, along with the recently released Vittoria Corsa Pro Speed—tyres specifically designed for time trials. Despite challenging conditions, with rain pouring down during the event, Boon Kiat showed remarkable perseverance and focus, pushing through to emerge victorious once again.

This performance stands as one of the best demonstrations of Boon Kiat’s incredible riding capabilities, securing yet another 1st place podium. His determination and skill continue to elevate both himself and the RS Racing team to new heights. Congratulations to Boon Kiat for this outstanding achievement!

Another Victory for RS Racing: Junior Rider Ga Cheng Takes 1st Place in the Individual Time Trial Weekend

But that wasn’t all during the action-packed time trial weekend. Our talented junior rider, Ga Cheng, also brought home a 1st place podium finish for RS Racing. Despite facing a shortage of Factor Hanzo framesets, Ga Cheng remained undeterred and rode the Factor Ostro VAM V1, outfitted with the Black Inc Integrated Barstem and Aero Extension.

His determination shone through as he refused to let equipment challenges or tough weather conditions hold him back. Pushing through both the competition and the elements, Ga Cheng secured the top spot with an impressive performance, proving that nothing was going to stop him from claiming victory.

A huge congratulations to both Boon Kiat and Ga Cheng for their outstanding achievements. Their dedication and perseverance continue to make RS Racing proud!

RS Racing Dominates the Final OCBC Road Event, Winning Both Quad and Duo Team Time Trials

In the final OCBC road event, the RS Racing team once again showcased their unbeatable strength, securing 1st place in both the Quad and Duo Team Time Trials.

The Quad team, composed of Captain Boon Kiat, Willy Yong Mun Liang, Messie, and Ga Cheng, delivered a flawless performance, while the Duo team, formed by Boon Kiat and Willy, proved equally unstoppable. These riders consistently gave their best, and their hard work and dedication shone through in this final race, solidifying RS Racing’s reputation as the best team in Singapore.

With a mixture of the Factor Hanzo, Ostro VAM V2, and V1, each bike was meticulously set up for peak performance in this critical event. The synergy between the riders and their machines was evident as they clinched the top podium spots in both categories.

What made this victory even more remarkable was the adversity faced by team captain Boon Kiat, who suffered a slow leak in his rear tire during the race. Despite this challenge, he demonstrated incredible determination, managing to keep pace and lead the team to victory.

This double triumph in both Quad and Duo categories is a testament to the team’s grit, skill, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Congratulations to the entire RS Racing team on this extraordinary achievement!
