A Fuse Of Knowledge
Building on the success of two extensive development cycles that produced the OSTRO VAM and HANZŌ Track, the Factor RAIDEN Track fully harnesses the expertise gained from those groundbreaking bikes. The RAIDEN is a true fusion of knowledge.
By blending the unparalleled straight-line speed of the HANZŌ Track with the maneuverability and group dynamics of the OSTRO VAM, the RAIDEN Track achieves a perfect balance. It combines the aerodynamic efficiency of a solo track bike with the versatility to excel in group racing situations.
Designed as a mass start track bike, the RAIDEN Track features geometry optimized for a broad range of riders. Whether it’s Sprint, Madison, or Omnium races, the RAIDEN Track is built to dominate the sprinter’s lane.
Accessible Geometry
Developed through extensive research into the optimal geometry for a wide range of track riders, the RAIDEN Track delivers a race-ready position that balances responsiveness with the ability to maintain an aggressive posture throughout an entire track event. Factor’s signature handling ensures a maneuverable bike capable of weaving through dense traffic in bunch racing. The frame’s inherent adjustability provides a versatile fit across various rider sizes and track disciplines, making it a highly adaptable choice for any track event.
Extreme Stiffness
To excel across a wide range of track disciplines—from Sprint races to multi-rider events like the Points race—the RAIDEN Track is engineered to deliver the stiffness needed for riders to fully capitalize on their power output. Every aspect of the frame has been meticulously developed to meet the high torque demands of elite and serious amateur racers. Leveraging our in-house expertise in carbon layup, the frame’s material is precisely distributed to ensure maximum rigidity. Key areas such as the chainstays and seatstays draw inspiration from the HANZŌ Track, optimizing power transfer while maintaining an ideal balance between stiffness and aerodynamics.
Efficient Group Dynamics
Drawing inspiration from the OSTRO VAM, the RAIDEN Track features a front end designed to enhance aerodynamics in group racing dynamics. In bunch events, where riders constantly jostle for position, airflow is less predictable. The initial foil shapes of the fork and headtube, inspired by the OSTRO VAM development process, were refined during the RAIDEN’s design to be deeper and better suited for maintaining airflow in group scenarios. The RAIDEN Track seamlessly combines the aerodynamic efficiency of a straight-line pursuit bike like the HANZŌ Track with the optimized group dynamics of the OSTRO VAM.
